Soichi began his Salon training at the age of eighteen after graduating with a BA in Chemistry. He began assisting top hair stylists Eugene Souleiman & Martin Collins until he began his own freelance work for magazines such as i-D, Dazed & Confused and Wallpaper. In his spare time he likes nothing more than cooking whilst listening to Japanese pop music.
