These images document the human cost of economic failure. The experience was more like archaeology than photography. There is an unsettling, Pompeii-like stillness to recently abandoned offices. A coat hanger waiting patiently for a coat. A flattened gym sock. An inspirational poster, with no-one to inspire.
Everywhere, sign of life, interrupted.
